Studies on the Epigenetic Regulation of Human Pregnancy in Fertile and Infertile Couples

Penn Fertility Care is conducting the Epigenetics Study, exploring how fertility treatments may influence childhood growth and development. The study compares pregnancies conceived through Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) with those conceived without ART to better understand how these treatments might affect gene expression during early development.

Participation in this study involves donating your placenta after delivery and allowing researchers to review your medical records. This will not interfere with your routine clinical care or pose any risk to you or your baby, as the placenta is normally discarded after delivery.

We are currently recruiting patients who used frozen eggs in their current pregnancy.
